Guam - The Civil Service Commission confirms that it is reviewing a complaint filed by several Guam Police officers in relation to lieutenant promotions. CSC officials confirm the complaint deals with the first batch of lieutenant promotions that occurred earlier this year.

It alleges that GPD personnel one way or another managed to become qualified for the lieutenant positions only after talking to officials at the Department of Administration. The complaint further alleges that several of the promoted personnel did not meet the supervisory requirement.

CSC officials say they continue to review the complaint before setting a hearing date.
