Guam - Committee on Education chairperson Speaker Judi Won Pat and Senator Tina Muna Barnes visited FB Leon Guerreo Middle School in Yigo today to see for themselves the issues surrounding the now-infamous "Outgaters". As KUAM News reported on Tuesday, several students from FBLG and the adjacent Simon Sanchez High School are skipping classes behind both campuses, covering their faces with t-shirts and throwing rocks.

The senators walked the trail this afternoon along with Yigo mayor Bob Lizama, who shares similar safety concerns. The speaker will be working with various agencies to determine how the issue could be properly addressed.
