Students get into the giving spirit

Guam - Students from Wettengel Elementary School in Dededo showed how much they are really into the spirit of giving. This afternoon, members of Lou Meno's Head Start class presented a donation of canned and perishable food items for the Lighthouse Recovery Center.

"This is the month of November for Thanksgiving," she explained, "and it blends in with what we're teaching about food - 'sharing Is Caring'. The kids are so happy to do it. They get so excited when they bring it in."

The donation will be put in food bags to be given to the homeless and families in need this holiday season.
