Guam - The Guam Nurses Association hosted its annual conference at the Hilton Hotel in Tumon today. The event drew in nurses from all over the island to discuss issues, ranging from improving efficiency of patient flow through the emergency room and prevalent infection control issues and how they are managed.

Guam Nurses Association President Bernadette Santos told KUAM News, "It gives the nursing community an opportunity to come together. We have nurses who are the people from different fields like Dr. Matthew from Public Health and also more importantly, it gives University of Guam students, those who are in their senior year, to present to the professional organizations."
