Guam - The island's water and wastewater infrastructure was part of the focus of discussions today between U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region IX Guam program manager Michael Wolfram and Governor-elect Eddie Calvo. The two discussed funding for the necessary infrastructure upgrades.

Calvo expressed concerns that there are funding gaps for the necessary upgrades and wolfram admitted that the Department of Defense must share in the financial burden. In a press release, Wolfram is quoted as saying, "GovGuam should not have to solely bear the burden of upgrades needed for the military buildup."
