Guam - Five lawmakers are in Taiwan this week to engage in discussions they hope will help improve the island's economic future. Speaker Judi Won Pat and Senators Rory Respicio, Tina Muna Barnes, Tom Ada, and Tony Ada are meeting with Taiwanese government officials as well as visiting the Taiwan Environmental Protection Administration, Taiwan External Trade Development Council and the fisheries agency.

The lawmakers are hoping the discussions related to aquaculture, recycling, energy development and diverse trade models will result in some ideas to assist Guam economically and environmentally.
