Guam - Legislation has been introduced that would allow more women to get annual mammograms.  Senators Rory Respicio and Judi Guthertz, both running for re-election, introduced Bill 468.  The measure would provide women who are at least 40 years old under the Medically Indigent Program more access to receive annual mammograms.

Said Guthertz, "This particular bill will help close the gap for many of our women on Guam who otherwise would not have access to yearly mammogram screenings."

Currently women under MIP can obtain the services at the age of 50.
