Assistant AG in court for assault charge

Guam - Assistant attorney general Devorah Lynne Covington appeared in the Superior Court of Guam on Thursday afternoon. Covington was arrested on charges of family violence and assault, and pleaded not guilty to the allegation that she assaulted someone known to her. She entered into a diversion program last month, as she is working to have her case expunged.

A further proceedings hearing is scheduled for December 2 at 2pm.
