Time expires for Port to collect on rent

Guam - The Guam Port Authority won't be able to collect $70,000 from Sunbay Corporation.  That's how much the company owed the agency for rent before June 2006, but today in Superior Court Judge Elizabeth Barrett-Anderson ruled the statute of limitations was up, and that five years was too long to wait to finally file action to collect. 

Attorney for Sunbay Jacques Bronze says his company now owes about $6,000, but he hopes they'll be able to settle that with the Port out of court.
