Exactly 31 days remain until the primary election and tonight the Guam Election Commission is reconvening to ratify the list of district registrars. Executive director Maria Pangelinan says district registrars will help increase the voter registry, which currently stands at 47,000 voters.
"District registration begins August 5, where people can go to the mayors offices to vote up to 8pm each evening, all the mayors offices will be staffed with 2 district registrars and this will go on until August 17," said Pangelinan. The deadline to register to vote is on August 17.
In the meantime the Guam Election Commission will begin in-office voting on Thursday, July 28 from 8am to 5pm at the GEC offices in Hagatna.
