Honolulu firm wins Apra Harbor contract

Guam MACC Builders, a joint venture of Honolulu, Hawaii, has been awarded an $86 million contract for wharf improvements at Apra Harbor by Naval Facilities Engineering Command Pacific.

Guam - Guam MACC Builders, a joint venture of Honolulu, Hawaii, has been awarded an $86 million contract for wharf improvements at Apra Harbor by Naval Facilities Engineering Command Pacific. According to a press release, the essential wharf and utilities improvements will provide enhanced berthing capacities to facilitate efficient loading/unloading of transient ships that directly support the relocation of U.S. Marines from Okinawa.

Work is expected to be completed by August 2013.
