Pacific West Builders gets $7.2M contract

Naval Facilities Engineering Command Marianas has awarded its first contract associated with the realignment of U.S. Marines from Okinawa to Guam.

Guam - Naval Facilities Engineering Command Marianas has awarded its first contract associated with the realignment of U.S. Marines from Okinawa to Guam.  California-based Pacific West Builders was awarded a $7.2 million contract to construct a new military working dog facility to replace the existing facility in Apra Harbor.

The company will spend the next few months completing the design of the new facility.  The entire project is expected to be completed by September 2012.
