Female Guam native, 19, killed in Afghanistan

Guam - 19-year-old Jaysine Petree from Yigo was killed while serving in Afghanistan. According to her father, Herbert Petree, she had only been in the Army for about 19 months and this was her first deployment.

Jaysine graduated from Simon Sanchez High School in 2009. More information is expected to be released later by the military, however, KUAM News has confirmed she died from contact with an improvised explosive device.
