Guam - A notice to proceed was issued from the Department of Public Works to International Bridge Corporation making way for demolition of the old JFK High School campus in Upper Tumon. IBC vice president Miguel Bordallo tells KUAM News that they have also obtained a demolition permit, which is separate from the NTP.

Bordallo also said that IBC is currently finalizing the design phase of the contract, which he says will be completed soon. In the meantime, he says they've already assisted the Department of Education in doing a soft demolition.

With the documentation needed to proceed, Bordallo says they will begin tearing down the dilapidated campus.
