DOE gets $2.1M for employee contributions

The Department of Education has received $2.1 million today from the Department of Administration to cover employee contributions from the last pay period for employees.

Guam - The Department of Education has received $2.1 million today from the Department of Administration to cover employee contributions from the last pay period for employees. DOE didn't received enough cash for payday and held back on paying retirement contributions and other things for employees.

Acting Finance Deputy Superintendent Chris Anderson says the superintendent has signed on the checks today.
