Upper Tumon power going out Tuesday

Guam - The Guam Power Authority has scheduled a power outage this Tuesday for residents living in Upper Tumon. There will be two 30-minute interruptions for customers at the Regency Hotel, the Sun Route Hotel and other customers in the area. Customers affected on the six-hour outage in Upper Tumon are Australian Cable, the Julian's night club building, Navy Pump and other customers living in the area.

This outage will take place from 8am to 2pm. Crews will be conducting preventative maintenance on the overhead lines off Route 1.
