Guam - The Department of Education has increased grant money for the Guam Community College's College Access Challenge Grant Program.  Initially the vocational tech school was receiving more than $300,000 but that funding has been increased to $1.5 million.

That money will allow GCC to conduct more workshops and outreaches to encourage middle and high school students to go to college. GCC has also received additional money for its project aim program that provides support services to certain students.
