Guam - Six students involved in a riot at Southern High School have been recommended for expulsion after a two-day Disciplinary Advisory Council hearing. According to principal James Petitte, another five were sent to the J.P. Torres Alternative School, two withdrew before the hearings even took place, and one who was accused of being involved was later classified as being a bystander.

Petitte says the last student will undergo a separate process because he is a special needs student.

For the time being, he says those that were punished will not be returning to Southern High.
