PEALS Board celebrates half-century
The Professional Engineers, Architects and Land Surveyors Board is celebrating 50 years on Guam. A proclamation signing was held this afternoon at Adelup to commend the board for its efforts.

Chairperson Liza Provido says the PEALS Board sets standards of practice for these professions, saying, "We, as a profession, we are responsible for the design and planning of basically for our buildings and environment to really shape the way our community grows and develops."
A wave was held this afternoon at the organization's offices in Upper Tumon to commemorate service to the island and people.
