Guam - Southern High School principal James Petitte says disciplinary hearings will be held next week to determine whether 14 students involved in a riot yesterday will be expelled.  Another student reportedly participated, but has since been withdrawn from the Santa Rita school by his parents.

Two students were sent to the hospital - a pregnant bystander who had fallen and another student complaining of trouble breathing.

But despite the fight, Petitte commended his staff's quick action and says that Southern is still a good school.  "That issue yesterday was dealt with very swiftly. Within two to three minutes it was all over. Everyone was dispersed. We segregated these students very quickly. The Guam Police was here within 20 minutes of the incident," he stated.

In 2006, Southern High sophomore Jeromy Newby died after injuries sustained during a fight at the school.
