Guam featured in national CBS commercial
In anticipation of the season premiere of the return of one of television's greatest crime drama series, Hawaii Five-0, KUAM is featured in the national CBS campaign "America Sings".
By KUAM NewsGuam - In anticipation of the season premiere of the return of one of television's greatest crime drama series, Hawaii Five-0, KUAM is featured in the national CBS campaign "America Sings". The commercial, now airing on CBS stations across the United States and on cbs.com, features various people from around the country performing the Hawaii Five-0 theme song.
Guam's contribution to the commercial was taped on location at Two Lovers Point and features Benjie Santiago and the award winning Natibu Dance Troupe. KUAM General Manager Joey Calvo appreciates the opportunity the CBS network provided for affiliates to feature their markets saying, "We are honored that one of Guam's most beautiful scenic landmarks and ambassadors of our culture are featured among some of the United States most iconic cities in the spot."
Hawaii Five-0 premieres locally on KUAM TV11on Tuesday, September 21. The "America Sings" commercial can be seen on CBS stations leading up to the premiere and can also be viewed on CBS.com.
