Guam - The island's judges and justices approved an amended version of the mobile phone policy today. The change includes that individuals will be permitted to use electronic devices within a certain parameter of the courtroom. However, some of the restrictions are that the device be on vibrate or silent mode, and that individuals cannot use the device to record audio or video inside the courtroom.

The policy also prohibits jurors from having mobile phones or any electronic devices while in the jury room during deliberations. The Judicial Council also discussed its Fiscal Year 2011 budget as well as the establishment of a "Driving While Intoxicated Court".
