Grant funds Pacific Lineman Training Program

Guam - A close to a half-million dollar grant was signed by Department of Interior Assistant Secretary for Insular Areas Tony Babauta today. The money will go to supporting the Pacific Lineman Training Program. Participating utilities from each insular island area will provide a matching contribution.

The Pacific Lineman Training Program is recognized by the Department of Labor as equivalent to professional lineman certification programs in the mainland.
