Charter school application approved

The Guam Academy Charter Schools Council approved the first charter school application submitted by the National Institute for Direct Instruction Group.

Guam - The Guam Academy Charter Schools Council approved the first charter school application submitted by the National Institute for Direct Instruction Group. NIFDI has said the application was submitted to create a charter school focusing on the Direct Instruction teaching method. Officials have said it would allow instructors to provide a more cohesive instructional program that will accelerate growth.

Charter School Council Chairperson Rosa Palomo says the official announcements will be made tomorrow during a press conference, which will be held at 11am at the University of Guam.
