Guam - This rainy Friday is significant, not only for us here at KUAM, but for Guam in general: we've now got our own official app for the Apple platform! As such, your Apple mobile device just got a lot cooler.

Here in Harmon we've been developing a service to let mobile users worldwide running iPhones, iPod Touches and the new iPads access and enjoy the comprehensive news, information and entertainment products that we produce around the clock, 365 days a year.

And that day has finally arrived, as we've rolled out the official KUAM News app, giving you constant connectivity to the KUAM Studios. Several people have been beta testing the app for us, but we're beyond thrilled to finally release it for public download in the iTunes App Store. This is the first such major App Store endeavor by a local company, of which we're extremely proud.

(And I know what the rest of you are thinking…so YES! We're already knee-deep in building-out mobile apps for Blackberry and Android, which are coming very soon.)

So, Apple fanboys, have at it! Have a look at some screengrabs from our app, and then grab it in the App Store (search "kuam" or "guam" on your device) - our app is totally 100% FREE - and give it a spin. All the cool kids have it.
