Marianas Homegrown singer dies
Jeff Tyquiengco from the Marianas Homegrown band had passed away on Friday after battling cancer. Tyquiengco joined the band shortly after original band member J.D. Crutch passed away in the early 1990s.

Bandmate Joe "Uncle Tote" Cunningham referred to Tyquiengco as his "hero" and says "he was the nicest guy on the block". Tyquiengco was from the village of Merizo.
