Guam - The spouses, children and friends of Department of Corrections inmates and officers will be holding a peaceful demonstration protest tomorrow. Dianne Strong says they are hoping to get the message across to the governor, lawmakers, the attorney general, and the U.S. Department of Justice to have them intervene on the longstanding, unfair, inhumane and illegal treatment of those at the DepCor.

Strong says the concerns have continuously fallen on deaf ears.

"There are so many issues that are so major at doc right now. The over a million dollars owed in overtime to corrections officers, three different of groups of people whose husbands have been locked down illegally related to three different major events and of course the last event was the murder in May."

The protest will begin at 8am at the Guam Legislature in Hagatna.
