Guam - Wells Fargo financial institutions on Guam are set to close in September. According to corporate offices in Des Moines, Iowa, Wells Fargo is going through restructuring, and as a result of this move, the local offices will be shutting their doors.

Customers with existing loans will continue to be served by other Wells Fargo businesses. Those with questions about their loans can call their local Wells Fargo financial store or find information online about their statements. Wells Fargo Financial has also discontinued accepting new loan applications, effective June 8. Loan applications submitted prior to that date will have their loan applications processed through final disposition.

Credit cards, auto loans and retail sales finance products will be offered through other business lines, but mortgage products will discontinue. There's no word on how many employees have been affected on Guam.
