Guam - A selection has been made for the cleanup of the 1,800 oil drums at the Department of Public Works compound located in Upper Tumon. According to DPW Director Andy Leon Guerrero, although they can't release the name of the local company that will be awarded the bid just yet, he does say that the company was the lowest bidder.
Leon Guerrero says they will now evaluate the company for the next two days before sending them back to the General Services Agency to receive the final award. The cleanup effort was ordered by the federal court, and Leon Guerrero says the cost is currently being discussed.
