Guam - The Guam Police Department arrested a 21-year-old Palauan man this past weekend for driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident. GPD Spokesperson Officer A.J. Balajadia says police responded to the auto accident on R. Camacho Street in Barrigada Sunday evening involving a 2006 Madza 3 and a 1995 Nissan Quest.

Reports show that Mike Taman, who was driving the Nissan, fled on foot before officers arrived to the scene. Police later found Taman at his residence after speaking with the owner of the vehicle. Taman was placed behind bars on charges of DUI, leaving the scene of an accident with property damages, no drivers license, and resisting arrest.
