Guam - The Manenggon Memorial Foundation held its annual Manenggon memorial service today in Yona. The event began with a wreath laying ceremony followed by a memorial mass at the site of the former concentration camp.

As the island celebrates 66 years of being liberated, these memorials are held to remember those who suffered as a result of World War II. Thousands of Chamorros went through Guam's darkest days during the Japanese occupation.
