Several popular beaches too dirty for use

Guam - If you plan to hit the beaches this weekend, keep in mind that the Guam Environmental Protection Agency has deemed several beaches as polluted. They are Ypao Beach, Dungca's Beach, East Hagatna Bay, Alupang Towers Beach, Padre Palomo Park Beach, Adelup Beach Park, Asan Bay Beach, Santos Memorial Park, Togcha Beach, Bangi Beach, Nimitz Beach, Toguan Bay, Merizo Pier, Inarajan Pool, Inarajan Bay and Talofofo Bay.

Swimming and fishing in these waters could cause illnesses such as sore throat and diarrhea.
