Charter school proposal has public hearing
The Guam Academy of Charter Schools Council will hold a public hearing this Friday to discuss the application submitted by the National Institute for Direct Instruction.
Guam - The Guam Academy of Charter Schools Council will hold a public hearing this Friday to discuss the application submitted by the National Institute for Direct Instruction. According to Council chairperson Rosa Palomo, the group discussed the upcoming hearing during a regular meeting at the Guam Legislature last night.
NIFDI is the only entity who has submitted an official application to form a charter school. Palomo is encouraging interested organizations to turn in an application for review.
In the meantime, the hearing gets underway at 6pm on Friday.
