Postage stamps could go up $0.02
Guam - If you prefer snail mail, the U.S. Postal Service has announced a proposed $0.02 increase in the price of a first-class postage stamp to $0.46. The proposed rate hike underscores the Postal Service's financial position. It's currently projected to have a seven billion dollar deficit for next year.
If the two-cent hike is approved it would kick into effect in January.
