Guam - The Department of Public Health in coordination with the U.S. Department of Agriculture is responding to the recent voluntary recall involving 61,000 pounds of Hormel Corned Beef with Natural Juices, which are manufactured by Sampco, Inc. of Chicago, Illinois and are products of Brazil. These products are being recalled because it's possible the product may contain the animal drug Ivermectin.

Te products subject to recall are:

  • 12-oz. Cans of 'Deltina Corned Beef with Juices
  • 12-oz. cans of Hormel Corned Beef with Natural Juices (Production Code 100120 at the top of the can)
  • 35-lb. boxes of Frozen Seasoned Cooked Beef
  • 35-lb. boxes of Sampco Brand Frozen Cooked Beef with Salt Added

Each Product package bears "BRASIL 337 S.I.F" as well as "Product of Brazil" or "Packed under Brazilian Government Inspection".  Dickerson and Quinn is the main wholesaler.
