Guam - The Guam Regional Transit Authority is against the clock to keep its bus services running. The agency's director, Joey Manibusan, says they do not have enough funds to support the operations to finish out this fiscal year. He says they area projecting a more than $400,000 shortfall in their current budget.

He told KUAM News, "If we don't get that appropriation, there's a chance that the system may have to shut down for a certain amount of time until funds are identified for the month of September."

Manibusan is working with lawmakers to re-appropriate money from the Guam Highway Fund to allow for operations to continue.
