Hiker, 52, goes missing in Yigo

Local authorities spent the early morning hours searching for a missing hiker in Yigo today. Guam Fire Department Spokesperson Joey San Nicolas says a call to the island's E-911 service was placed at about midnight Monday, reporting that a 52-year-old man was missing.

Guam - Local authorities spent the early morning hours searching for a missing hiker in Yigo today. Guam Fire Department Spokesperson Joey San Nicolas says a call to the island's E-911 service was placed at about midnight Monday, reporting that a 52-year-old man was missing.

He adds that rescue units responded and found the man about three miles in the Anao Point area at 2:56am. The man did not appear to have any injuries and was released from the scene.
