Swords stolen from Pacific War Museum

Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at the Pacific War Museum built by the late John Gerber.  Guam Police Department Spokesperson Officer A.J. Balajadia says the suspect or suspects entered the west side of the building and broke into the Japanese sword displays.

Guam - Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at the Pacific War Museum built by the late John Gerber.  Guam Police Department Spokesperson Officer A.J. Balajadia says the suspect or suspects entered the west side of the building and broke into the Japanese sword displays. 

Three swords were stolen, with one reportedly being about 559 years old. 

The Criminal Investigations Division is now investigating the matter.  Anyone with any information is asked to contact police immediately at 475-8551 or 2 Or Guam Crimestoppers at 477-HELP (4357).
