Man arrested on Guam for child porn

Guam - A man who been wanted for the last three years in Florida was arrested on Guam on Thursday and will be sent back to that state. Kenneth Sweeney is charged with travel with the intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct and possession of child pornography. According to the indictment, between October 2002 and June 2004 in the Northern District of Florida, Sweeney traveled to Thailand, India, China and the Philippines, allegedly to engage in illicit sexual conduct with minors.
He is also accused of possessing child pornography depicting kids performing sexual acts and even of incest. The U.S. District Court on Guam ordered Sweeney's removal to the Northern District Court of Florida. He has been remanded to the custody of the U.S. Marshals, who will escort him back to the state to answer to the criminal charges.
