Mini-health fair gets Guam fit for summer

WestCare Pacific Islands, through its Project Isla-Ta held a mini-fair today at the Micronesia Mall's Center Court in Dededo. The theme was "Healthy for the Summer, Healthy for Life."  Exhibitors included Island Girl Power, the Guahan Project, the Pound Academy, and the Guam Community College's College Access Program.

Guam - WestCare Pacific Islands, through its Project Isla-Ta held a mini-fair today at the Micronesia Mall's Center Court in Dededo. The theme was "Healthy for the Summer, Healthy for Life."  Exhibitors included Island Girl Power, the Guahan Project, the Pound Academy, and the Guam Community College's College Access Program.

Health screenings were also provided. WestCare is a family based, non-profit behavioral health organization. Services include substance abuse and addition treatment, homeless, and runaway shelters, domestic violence treatment and prevention as well as mental health programs.
