Guam - A two-day Suicide Prevention Workshop is being held at the Marriott Hotel, hosted by the Applied Suicide Skills Intervention Training Group.  Various government agencies representatives and community partners participated in discussions on how to assist individuals contemplating suicide.

Assistant trainer Rebecca Respicio said, "We're giving them the knowledge and the skills and the training to actually be able to intervene on people who are having suicidal thoughts and who are thinking about killing themselves."

The training wraps-up tomorrow.
