Group of Marines reportedly in scuffle
The Navy's Criminal Investigation Section is looking into an altercation involving a group of U.S. Marines that occurred on Naval Base Guam on June 2. The Marines were from the USS Dubuque, which recently pulled into port.
Guam - The Navy's Criminal Investigation Section is looking into an altercation involving a group of U.S. Marines that occurred on Naval Base Guam on June 2. The Marines were from the USS Dubuque, which recently pulled into port.
According to Joint Region Marianas Public Affairs Officer Lieutenant Jodie Cornell, just before midnight the six Marines returned to Big Navy after liberty. During an alleged altercation some of the Marines suffered minor wounds. The six were treated and released from Naval Hospital.
Lieutenant Cordell said this is an isolated incident currently being investigated by the NCIS.
