Inmates sent to cleanup Veterans Cemetery
After a delay because of an ongoing murder investigation at the prison, Department of Corrections inmates were sent to cleanup Veterans Cemetery in Piti. The area had become littered with trash and overgrown with grass as the Veteran's Affairs Office lacks the necessary maintenance staff.

By KUAM NewsGuam - After a delay because of an ongoing murder investigation at the prison, Department of Corrections inmates were sent to cleanup Veterans Cemetery in Piti. The area had become littered with trash and overgrown with grass as the Veteran's Affairs Office lacks the necessary maintenance staff.
Inmates were dispatched to assist with the cleanup in preparation for Memorial Day.
