Guam - Undersecretary of the Navy Robert Work has sent a letter to Legislative Speaker Judi Won Pat stating that he, along with Assistant Secretary Jackie Pfannenstiel, shares the sentiments that the planned military buildup on Guam must benefit the community at large. Works writes that to ensure both civilian and military residents benefit, the Department of the Navy is committed to working closely with Congresswoman Madeleine Bordallo, the governor and the legislature in planning the Marine relocation and allaying the concerns of the people of Guam.
