Guam - Just two days after holding an oversight hearing on the Guam Police Department, Senator Adolpho Palacios (D) says he is considering Round 2, as there are more concerns he's been receiving about operations at the agency. Palacios says he met with Acting Chief of Police Ric Leon Guerrero today regarding concerns about the recent lieutenant promotions and the honorary deputy positions.

The senator says he will hold the oversight hearing if he is not satisfied with the chief's response to those concerns, adding, "I told him that when I bring things to the attention of the Guam Police Department, it is because these same things were brought to my attention.  And I told him that when these things are brought to my attention it becomes my business to look into it and then to respond to the constituents, so don't take it personal when I bring these things up."

Palacios also delivered a letter to the acting chief documenting the request for the list of officers hired in the past five years whose polygraph results showed inconclusive or deceptive.
