Guam - The JFK High School Class of 2010 will be graduating in the next couple of weeks at Ramsey Field in Upper Tumon. According to Principal Ken Chargualaf, while they didn't receive the necessary funds to held commencement ceremonies there, the community has stepped up to help.

He says the island's mayors offices and senators Eddie Baza Calvo and Ray Tenorio have agreed to help with planning the ceremony.  "The mayors from both Tamuning and Dededo are also part of the whole equation to make sure that we have a very successful graduation," he explained. "Alumni from the Class of 1960 will be participating in this ceremony; they would be the ones escorting the graduating Class of 2010."

The JFK school community has been without a permanent campus for the last couple of years and Chargualaf says seniors are elated with news that graduation would take place near the old campus. The ceremony is scheduled for June 5.
