Guam - There's yet another delay to report in the case against former governor Carl Gutierrez and former Government of Guam Retirement Fund Director John Rios.  While jury selection was scheduled to resume this morning, Rios' attorney sought another stay of the proceedings until his motion to dismiss is first addressed.

Superior Court Pro-Tem Judge Richard Benson granted the motion for a second time on Monday, saying he would first address the pending defense motion before jury selection would resume.

Last week the judge denied a motion to dismiss filed by Gutierrez's attorney, as the court found the motion untimely.
