Missing canoe bound for Yap found...in Palau
The U.S. Coast Guard has called off a search for a Yap-bound canoe that left Guam last month. The Simion Hokulea was reported missing after never returning to Yap. USCG officials confirm that the 33-foot outrigger sailing canoe was located in Palau and all 11 people on board have been accounted for and are in good health.

Guam - The U.S. Coast Guard has called off a search for a Yap-bound canoe that left Guam last month. The Simion Hokulea was reported missing after never returning to Yap. USCG officials confirm that the 33-foot outrigger sailing canoe was located in Palau and all 11 people on board have been accounted for and are in good health.
The Palau Police towed the canoe into its port.
