JFK negotiations hit latest glitch
by Nick Delgado
Guam - The negotiations for International Bridge Corporation to construct the new John F. Kennedy High School has hit yet another snag. Guam Office of Public Accountability Public Auditor Doris Flores Brooks says the Department of Public Works has not satisfied the order in a recent OPA decision to allow the project to move forward.
Brooks says DPW must conduct an analysis and cost comparison as to the reasonableness of IBC's proposed annual maintenance cost, and include the details in the procurement record. Brooks says DPW Director Andy Leon Guerrero has assured her that they are working on the matter and the issue should be resolved next week.
