Guam - The Guam Housing and Urban Renewal Authority presented its draft five-year consolidated plan today. The plan will result in more decent and affordable housing becoming available for the community. GHURA Chief Planner Mike Duenas says they are working with the island mayors to finalize the plan by using data from the 2010 Census.

"In terms of neighborhood revitalization," Duenas noted, "we will be focusing on the home owners and the condition of their homes, the need to upgrade water or sewer lines, providing side walks, repaving streets, small micro-renewal projects is what the neighborhoods need."
